Why not use Steam Carpet Cleaning Instead? Wet or Steam Cleaning your carpets can cause the following: - Soap and Water - Detergent Residue Wet
carpet cleaning methods, including some that contain the word "dry",
can leave detergent to dry in carpet. After carpet is cleaned with a
wet carpet cleaning method the water evaporates from the cleaning
solution and the detergent dries and re-crystallizes within and
throughout carpet fibers.During
the drying time the water (H20) evaporates from the "cleaning solution"
and the detergent remains. Detergent residue can attract new soil,
trigger rapid re-soiling and cause carpets to "ugly-out" and become
matted down. Simply put, detergent residue (soap) attracts new soil.
- Steam Cleaning - Can Remove Stain & Crush Resistant Materials
Hot
water extraction, more commonly referred to as steam cleaning, can
dilute and/or remove valuable stain resistant materials in addition to
crush resistant properties from carpet. - Health, Allergies, Mold And Carpet Cleaning
Steam cleaning can force water to gain access to carpet padding. In some cases, wet carpet can be hazardous to ones health. High levels of humidity stimulates growth of mold and/or mildew. Even
more alarming is the fact that water left dormant for prolonged periods
in carpet will allow living organisms to continue their growth cycles
at an accelerated rate. If you are interested in learning more about
the effects of wet carpet cleaning and health you should consult your
doctor. Our
dry extraction carpet cleaning system was designed to eliminate
many of the compromises associated with wet cleaning methods. A dry carpet cleaning system is
often difficult to understand because it is a "culture shock!" When
people first see it, they can't understand how a dry cleaner works.
They have naturally become accustomed to using water and suds for
cleaning.
Our
system and cleansers dissolve and absorb
both water based and oil based soil. Because our system is a low
moisture cleaning system, when we're finish cleaning your carpets,
they are usually dry. Chemical and mechanical action is required to
break the oil
bond and pull the soil away from the carpet fibers. Then this loosened
soil must be removed. Most wet cleaning methods easily dissolve the
soil. However, once dissolved, the soil can run up the base of the
carpet fibers and may wick back up (through a process called capillary
action) to the tips of the fiber. This is why some spots seem to
reappear after wet cleaning. This wicked up soil and detergent residue
can also cause the carpet to re-soil quickly.
Our system is a modern day product based on more than 60 years research.
And that's why drier is "better than wetter." Ready to give us try?
